The voting process to decide this year’s WSOP Tournament of Champions roster has closed, and event officials have released the final lineup.
Of the 20 poker pros voted into the WSOP tournament of Champions, Phil Ivey took the first spot, narrowly beating Daniel Negreanu for the 2nd position. Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, and Chris Ferguson came out in the top five positions.

Past Tournament of Champions winners Annie Duke, Mike Matusow and Mike Sexton are automatically included in this year’s tournament. “Joe Cada and Barry Shulman are also in for winning last year’s Main Event and Main Event Europe.
The two final positions went to sponsor exemptions. Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier won a one-table playoff to earn the WSOP Academy’s exemption, and Andrew Barton won a United Kingdom online competition through WSOP website.
The Tournament of Champions will be a no limit Texas Hold ‘em game, that will be aired on ESPN. It will begin on June 27. As a largely ceremonial tournament game, the WSOP tournament will be played without money and no gold bracelet will be given to the winner.
