One online texas holdem poker gambler that happens to be a former police officer from New York City has beat one of the world’s biggest poker gamblers! The gambler won a total of one million dollars after qualifying through a online tournament on the popular poker gambling website known as Pokerstars.net and was the last man standing in a heads up competition against Daniel Negreanu.
The gambler has been playing the game of poker for rather some time and has been doing so as a recreation to occupy his time, because he retired from his task as a police officer in the city of New York. The gambler said that his wife constantly told him to follow the game of poker, and it looks like her great advice paid off in a big way.
The gambler also said that there are a few things that let him to beat some of the biggest competition ever produced! It took some patients, some ability in people reading but also caught up in some great luck and good cards – he supplemented that a poker game can’t be won just on skill – good cards are a necessary part of the game to end up a winner.
The gambler became part of this contest as one of 16,000 other gamblers that also wanted a chance to play one of the pokers greatest! He said that he attempted to study his opponent prior to the contest and even read several books that Daniel wrote.
