Leading online poker room TitanPoker had declared the launch of a series of satellite qualifiers to decide which gamblers will take part on their behalf at Europe’s longest-running poker contest of online texas hold em, the Irish Open.
Each week, gamblers enrolled on TitanPoker will have the opportunity to contest for a prize package valued at $7,200 that contains the $4,996 tournament buy-in, five night’s accommodation in Dublin’s luxury Burlington Hotel and over $1,000 for expenses.
These sensational packages will be up for snatches every Sunday evening in direct $268 buy-in super satellites, but can also be qualified for via a program of smaller satellite competitions with buy-ins from as little as $2.20.
The 2010 Irish Open starts on the first day of April and is the longest-running no-limit Texas Hold’em Games ampionship in Europe and only the second oldest in the world after the annual World Series of Poker held in Las Vegas every summer.
A constantly favourite world poker stop, Dublin also acts host to the Irish Winter Festival each year, and TitanPoker unveiled that they sent a delegation of 32 gamblers from around the world to play in the recently-concluded championship in 2009. One of these gamblers, German Igor Kurganov, finished in fifth place for $51,275, while two other TitanPoker qualifiers also won money.
Having put up such a powerful presentation on the Emerald Isle last time around, TitanPoker will be expecting that their team of satellite qualifiers do even better next year – for just $2.20 it could be you taking pleasure in the turnament in Dublin this April.
