One of the traps that No Limit Texas Holdem poker online gamblers fall into is to hang in with a bad poker hand simply due to the fact that they have already bet a considerable amount of money.
Far too many times, No Limit Texas Holdem gamblers end up “drawing dead” with hands that they should have thrown into the muck due to the fact that of being “pot commitment.”
In reality there is really no hand that gamblers should become “married” too. gamblers are eventually going to face tough decisions at the table.
gamblers should not be making these decisions just due to the fact that gamblers feel pot bound.
Human nature often dictates seeing a hand through to the end due to the fact that gamblers feel pot bound even if your instincts tell gamblers your hand is no good. So, are gamblers really pot bound?
The answer is no if gamblers feel your hand is behind.
An example of a No Limit Texas Holdem gambler becoming pot bound would be when he is dealt a pocket poker hand such as 10-9 off-suit. Not a great hand, but with the other gamblers limping in, gamblers could decide to hang with this hand and see the flop for cheap as nobody is coming in with a raise.
When the flop comes 7, 8, 3, gamblers have an open-ended straight draw needing a jack or a 6 to complete the straight on the turn or river. gamblers could raise or check here depending upon what other gamblers do.
If a gambler behind gamblers raises though gamblers should realize gamblers are in trouble. Now gamblers have the problem of feeling pot bound to a hand in which gamblers are pretty sure is behind. Yes, gamblers have some outs, but not that many.
The situation gets even worse at the turn as gamblers feel even more pot bound with your weak drawing hand.
The reality in onilne poker is that gamblers are only as pot bound as gamblers let yourself be. gamblers don’t “have” to do anything. The money in the pot is not yours anymore and if gamblers feel your hand is a loser gamblers should get out.
gamblers will talk about pot odds and pot bound all the time but if gamblers feel gamblers are beat those odds aren’t going to make gamblers feel any better when gamblers lose the hand.
